The following recognitions are identical in size and appearance to Campaign Ribbons, the first four terms consisting of but two colour bars, and then increasing in length as described below.&bnsp Both Service and Battle Bars are worn at the centre top of the gong-board, with the Service Bar always worn to the right (as viewed) of the Battle Bar, changing as the bearer's Service Record lengthens. Entitlement is based solely on Longevity of Service as denoted by the number of completed Terms of Service, based on a five-year Term.  Each Service Bar is worn until the bearer achieves their next Service Milestone. |

This is a special Bar, only awarded after the bearer has been on the Regimental Muster List for at least ten years and has participated in at least 50 battles and skirmishes.  It is always worn to the immediate right (as viewed) of the Service Bar the wearer was entitled to at the time of the award, until they achieve their next Service Term Anniversary.  From this time the Elite Bar is worn between the Battle Bar and the Service Bar. |
