Service Recognition Bars

Being a Visual Representation of the Number of Terms of Service Completed by the Bearer on Behalf of Her Imperial Majesty

The following recognitions are identical in size and appearance to Campaign Ribbons, the first four terms consisting of but two colour bars, and then increasing in length as described below.&bnsp Both Service and Battle Bars are worn at the centre top of the gong-board, with the Service Bar always worn to the right (as viewed) of the Battle Bar, changing as the bearer's Service Record lengthens.

Entitlement is based solely on Longevity of Service as denoted by the number of completed Terms of Service, based on a five-year Term.  Each Service Bar is worn until the bearer achieves their next Service Milestone.
