Fourth Term of Service

2001-2005

Onward, ever onward, Gentle Reader, into the burgeoning history of the Regiment, gathering still more Glory and generating a generous portion of Gongs besides.  A further 45 battles to add to our total, including the very successful series of bashes that were part of Trafalgar 200, all fought in Nelson.

This Term also sees the first event outside of North Island for the Regiment, The Battle of Trafalgar Square in 2001, being part of the first of the Nelson Campaigns.  And, of course, the first of the reinstituted Queen's Birthday Campaigns in 2003.  Harking back to Trafalgar 200, this was the first of the Regiment's Grand Imperial Performance Tours, if we had but known, and we all know how those have grown beyond all expectation.  All-in-all, quite a significant period for the Regiment and a fine springboard into our Fifth Term of Service...
