First Term of Service

1986-1990

Welcome, Gentle Reader, to this First Term of the Regiment's Service in the Field.  Not surprisingly there is little to report in the first years, as the Regiment is still perfecting its skills at rooting out the enemy, whomsoever and wheresoever they may be.  However, by judicious application of the highly developed taunting skills of the inimitable Imperial Diplomatic Corps, we still managed to achieve our first 32 engagements, of which some 23 are "gongable" affairs, beginning the Regiment's tradition of being willing to travel afar in the Service of Her Majesty the Queen.  And thus begins the saga of the Modern Victorians.
